Leon and Johan: always there, always ready to help me, to make a picture, to let me see something different….you are a great support! G. Mommen: Greet, your help with drawings has been essential and in this book you can clearly see that! You are fast, precise, professional and you understand always what we need. I hope to continue the collaboration with you for a long time. Prof. Dr. R. Van Der Hulst: dear René, you believed in me when nobody, including me, could do that. Knowing that be patience is not your best quality I asked actually myself how did you manage to assist me during my first microsurgical cases… you are a great teacher! You are perhaps… not a conventional professor but… you are surely the most fantastic chief, colleague and friend who someone can have. You created a beautiful team and I have the honor to be part of it. It took a long time but now that my book is finished I want to use just more energy to let grow up what you started in our hospital and in all south of The Netherlands.
