Maastricht UMC+ Maastricht UMC+ is the cooperation between the academic hospital Maastricht and the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences of Maastricht University. Maastricht UMC+ is known both nationally and internationally for its focus on prevention. In other words, it goes beyond recovery alone to help people maintain and actively improve their health. In addition to top level clinical diagnostics and top referral patient care, its core tasks are medical research and education/training. Maastricht UMC+ has 715 beds, approximately 7500 staff and 5000 students.
